The Technique

 

 

The primary vocation of Denson SHOES is craftsmanship and it has made the finesse of manual work its priesthood. The cutting of the different parts of the shoe (upper, lining, sole, etc.) is entirely done by hand. As for the other assembly and sewing steps, they also require a lot of manual intervention. For example, the welt is sewn to the rod and the mounting insole. It is then turned over so that the whole thing is sewn a second time to the outsole. As for the filling of the cavity between the first sole and the outsole, it is ensured by a mixture based on cork powder and glue, which allows the brand's wearers to appreciate a personalized imprint after a few days of use.
